Dress Update (Avert Your Eyes, Brian)
Because of that title, Brian is probably going to read this post right away (if so, “Hi, honey”). I would. Curiosity always gets the best of me. And luckily, I’m not one of those people who thinks the groom should have absolutely no idea what the bride’s wedding dress looks like. Having some mystery and excitement around the dress if fun, but seeing a piece of fabric on a mannequin and seeing it on me on the wedding day are two very different things. At least I hope so because otherwise, I would be missing some critical body parts that would make walking down the aisle very tricky.

so when I first saw the bottom picture I thought, “now why would Gill think it was a good idea to make the bodice of her dress look like a funfetti cake? Everything was going so well until then.” Then I realized it was pins. Phewf!

It’s still so hard to tell what it’s going to look like, but it’s really shaping up. Can’t wait to see it on so I can get the full picture!

The dress was beautiful. Excellent taste and handiwork — Kaila, I’m glad you loved your final product as much as everyone else did. And it was a great idea to practice freaking Gill on the dance floor. This came in handy at the bachelorette party and the reception.
Gill, Darren and I asked his mom to save a few extra copies of the JFP profile, so we’ll get em to you when we see ya. It turned out great.
Brandi, what a super sweet (with a cherry on top) putrice!! I love the vintage effect and the color palette. Your sister will cherish this putrice of her daughter one day when that little girl is twirling around in her prom dress and heading out that same door.
