I still do feel sad for people who aren't us. It must suck to bask in our awesomeness, yet know that you'll never quite reach it. I think the people at Mimi's were jealous.

Speaking of washboards, I'm still not sure if "Single Girl, Married Girl" is a real song. The lyrics were sorta suspect. I recall them going something like: "Single girl is pretty and awesome. Married girl is....not." And I was all like, "Hey, washboard dude. I totally bought $200 worth of shoe inserts and bridesmaid pretties for this wedding and I cannot return them if you talk her out of it. LET'S HEAR SOME POSITIVE LYRICS, HMMMMMM-KAY?"

Aww! You have no idea how much fun it was to plan an evening for my baby sis and best friend, who's all growns up. I am so grateful for someone who's been there from the time I would gel my hair in middle school (though we try to forget that) to when I was a stressed-out workaholic whose best therapy was homemade nachos and Grey's Anatomy with my roomie and lil' sis.

A few highlights of the bachelorette for me, in no particular order:

1. Animal hats, the elephant in particular. I love, love, the picture of Nicole sneaking into the frame. "Oh dear, what gave me away?"

2. Wigs, the afro and mullet in particular. Can we please wear wigs every day? At least Mardi Gras is coming.

3. Your/our friends. Amazing. All the rumors are true. Creative professionals by day, stage dancers by night. All in a day's work, ma'am. And as people have been known to say, "Gill just isn't friends with ugly people."

4. 80s Night at One-Eyed Jack's. Everything you said about it was spot on. $1 High Lifes AND dancing to "Take on Me"?

5. Seeing you so happy to have most of your people in one place.

I'm so glad that you had as much fun at your bachelorette as we all did!
